How it works
How a junk pickup runs, from photo to sweep
Every pickup follows the same order, so you know what happens before we pull up.
Text photos
Send a picture of the pile, the room or the yard from your phone, however rough the shot.
Get a quote
A quote comes back from those photos, often within minutes, covering the whole job.
Pick a day and window
You choose the day and the arrival window, and the crew texts when it is on the way.
Confirm the price on site
The crew checks the estimate against the real volume before anything is loaded, and it moves down as readily as up.
Sort and load
Usable pieces are shown to you to decide on, blankets go on the doorways, and the load is sorted by condition and material as it goes in.
Sweep up
The space is swept and cleared before the crew leaves, so the room is ready for whatever comes next.

What neighbors say after the truck pulls away
Nathan , and his fellow worker ( I forget his name) were great! They were very quick in being available to help us out in the same week we called them. They did a thorough job in removing and emptying out an apartment; and a complete storage room the very next day~~ during a week we were in town because of a loved ones death. I highly recommend them. Very, very nice young men!
Nathan and team did an excellent job when we needed help with a move. Appreciate these enterprising young guys working hard and providing great service! We'll definitely call them again . . .
Came the same day I called them. Two great guys. Took everything and we thought the price was very fair. We would definitely call them again.
Who we are
Junk removal in Phoenix
We haul residential and commercial junk across Phoenix and the towns around it, from homes and businesses alike, and we quote each job before any loading starts.
The crew comes inside to wherever the items are, carries them out, loads the truck and sweeps up behind itself. You get the whole price up front, we charge what we quoted, and the phone is answered Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 6 pm, with calls outside those hours returned the next working morning.
What goes in the truck
What a junk hauler takes and what it leaves
A full-service crew carries furniture, appliances, yard waste and household clutter out from wherever it sits, inside the house or out in the yard.
"Full-service removal" means the crew comes to the items, whether that is a back bedroom, a garage loft or a storage unit. With curbside pickup you carry everything out to the curb or driveway first and pay less for the same load. A cleanout clears an entire space, while a cleanup targets one area, and a shed, play set or hot tub can come down as light demolition before its pieces are hauled.
Tires, rocks, dirt and concrete are a question for the call, since the right answer depends on the amount and the disposal site that will take them.
What a standard load leaves out
- Paint
- Motor oil
- Batteries
- Propane tanks
- Chemicals
- Asbestos
These are hazardous materials, and they must go to an approved hazardous waste facility rather than into a junk load. The Environmental Protection Agency's household hazardous waste guidance explains why paints, oils and batteries need separate handling at disposal.
Pricing
What sets the price of a load
Junk removal is priced by space rather than weight, and a handful of other things move the number up or down.
Quarter load
Half load
Most of the truck
Full load
-
Volume in the truck
The "cubic yard" is the trade's unit, and a standard washing machine fills about a cubic yard; a couch, a mattress or a fridge is a slice of the box, not a weight on a scale.
-
Material and disposal fees
Disposal fees vary by material, so the price depends on what the items are as well as how much there is.
-
Stairs and long carries
Stairs, elevators, long walks to the truck and items spread over several rooms or floors add labor; a street-level pickup where the truck pulls right up keeps it low.
-
Items grouped in one spot
Gathering everything in the garage, the driveway or at the curb before the crew arrives lowers the labor charge.
-
Same-day or weekend timing
Same-day and weekend jobs cost more than jobs booked days ahead, so a flexible date is the easiest saving there is.
-
Curbside or full-service
Curbside pickup, where you set the items outside first, is the cheapest service level; full-service brings the crew to the items.
A volume-based price usually covers the crew's labor, fuel to and from the job and the disposal fees. The exact number for your pile comes from the call, and it is confirmed on site before anything is loaded.

A hauling crew, a dumpster or the city's bulk pickup
A rented dumpster suits waste that builds up over weeks and leaves the loading to you, municipal bulk pickup runs on its own schedule and limits, and a hauling crew does the lifting on the day you pick.
Our service
A hauling crew
The crew does all the moving and loading, on a day and window you choose.
- You often do not need to be home if the items are accessible.
- Televisions, tires, mattresses and the rest a dumpster bans are handled through the right channel.
- Nothing sits in the driveway for days, and no permit is involved.
A rented dumpster
A "roll-off" is a container you fill yourself over days or weeks.
- Suits long renovations, landscaping or construction that produce waste steadily.
- You do all the moving and loading.
- Televisions, tires, mattresses, batteries and propane tanks are not allowed in it, and it may need a permit with a fee.
The city's bulk pickup
Many municipalities run scheduled curbside pickup for bulk items.
- It comes with its own rules and limits on what and how much.
- Items wait at the curb until the scheduled appointment.
- Homeowners often hire a private hauler instead to get it done on their own schedule.
After the pickup
Donation, recycling and the landfill
A load is sorted as it is loaded, by condition and by material, so what can be donated goes to donation, what can be recycled goes to recycling, and only what is left rides to a transfer station or landfill through legal, permitted channels.
Diverting items from the landfill is the mark of good work in this trade, and it matters more than it sounds: Environmental Protection Agency durable goods data show about 80 percent of discarded furniture went to landfills in 2018.
Before you hire
What to check before hiring a junk hauler
You should confirm a few things before anyone backs a truck up to your driveway.
- License and insurance
Check that the hauler carries the license and insurance the work requires, so a dropped dresser or a scuffed wall is not your problem.
- References
Ask for past customers with a job like yours, whether that is a garage, an apartment or a whole estate.
- A written quote
Beware a lowball number that doubles once the crew sees the job; a good hauler charges the price it quoted.
- What the quote includes
Labor, fuel, disposal fees and the sweep-up belong in the number; add-ons like stair carries or disassembly should be named before the day.
