What we take out

Hot tub removal in Phoenix

Hot tub removal takes a worn-out spa off a backyard, a patio or a commercial property and hauls every piece of it away, for residential and commercial owners alike.

A spa that no longer heats, a cabinet that has split in the sun, or a yard that needs the space back: each is a good reason to call. Whether the tub sits on a concrete pad, inside a deck or under a patio cover, the shell, the cabinet and the equipment leave together.

You tell us where it sits and how wide the gate is, and we price the whole job on that call, with no surprise charges after.

Before the removal day

Draining the tub and cutting the power

The tub has to be empty and switched off before anyone cuts it, because water left inside makes cutting and hauling it unsafe.

  1. Drain the water

Empty it with the drain or a pump. If it still holds water on the day, crews pump it out with professional equipment.

  2. Shut off the breaker

A hardwired 220V spa circuit is switched off at the breaker panel, not just at the tub's own controls.

  3. Remove or cap the whip

The whip, the wiring that feeds the tub, is removed or capped by you or a qualified electrician.

Not sure how your tub is wired? Have an electrician look before the day, and mention it when you call.

Getting it out

Cutting the tub into sections that fit the gate

A full-size spa is too heavy and too wide to roll through a side yard whole, so it is cut into sections small enough for a standard gate.

  1. Disconnect

The tub is freed from whatever still ties it to the house.

  2. Break it down

Shell and cabinet are cut apart on site into pieces the crew can carry by hand.

  3. Carry it out

Lifting gear and specialized tools move each section without damaging the deck or the yard.

  4. Haul it away

Every piece is loaded and driven off, so nothing is left leaning on the wall.

What's included

What hot tub removal covers and leaves

The removal takes the tub and everything built into it, finishes with a sweep of the pad, and each piece is disposed of under local rules.

The slab itself stays, and so does any spa that still works. Repairing a running tub or moving it to a new spot is a job for a spa technician, while ours is the old tub that is going for good.

Pricing

What hot tub removal costs

Hot tub removal in Phoenix typically falls in the ranges here, and where a tub lands depends on its size, how it is built and how hard it is to reach.

  • $395 to $550

Typical range, smaller to larger tubs

  • $920.82 to $1,841.64

Cost-guide range with materials and labor

  • Size

A small spa breaks down into fewer sections and fills less of the truck than a big family tub.

  • Construction

A "rotomold" tub, the lighter plastic shell, is easier and cheaper to take out than heavy acrylic.

  • Access

A light tub behind a wide gate sits at the low end; a heavy acrylic spa that has to be fully dismantled sits at the top.

These are typical figures, not our quote. Your price comes from the call and covers the whole job, cutting, hauling and disposal included.

Deck boards and yard debris after the tub

Old decking, fencing and yard debris around the tub get hauled as debris, a service with its own page.

Mention it on the call, and the quote can cover the tub and the debris together.

Words from the people we've hauled for

Nathan , and his fellow worker ( I forget his name) were great! They were very quick in being available to help us out in the same week we called them. They did a thorough job in removing and emptying out an apartment; and a complete storage room the very next day~~ during a week we were in town because of a loved ones death. I highly recommend them. Very, very nice young men!
