Junk hauling & cleanouts

Junk Removal in Scottsdale

The desert sun here lands 161 days a year of full summer heat on whatever sits outside, so a faded patio set or a cracking spa cover is best hauled before it crumbles where it stands.

How junk removal runs, start to finish

We run every pickup in town in the same order, so you know what happens between your call and a clear driveway.

  1. Call and describe the pile

Tell us what has to go and where it sits. Calls after 6 pm go to voicemail, and we ring back the next working morning.

  2. Get a price for all of it

The estimate is free and carries no obligation, and it covers the whole job before we start, with nothing tacked on later.

  3. Pick the day

We show up when we say we will. Setting things out at the curb yourself turns it into "curbside junk removal", the cheaper way to go.

  4. Carry out and load

With "full-service removal" the crew walks in and carries pieces out of any room, the garage or the back patio, loading by truck space rather than weight.

  5. Sort by condition

Usable pieces head to donation, sun-brittle resin and plastic go to recycling, and whatever is left rides to the "transfer station".

  6. Sweep where it stood

We clean up the spot the pile came from before the truck pulls away.

Around town

Neighborhoods and the homes in them

We work every corner of town, from McCormick Ranch in the south to Troon up against the northern desert.

Up north the lots tend to run bigger, with long driveways and side yards where patio furniture and old planters pile up. Closer in, near the ballpark downtown, a condo or an upstairs unit means stairs and a longer walk to the truck, and the quote accounts for that from the start.

The median home in town was built in 1990, so plenty of garages, storage closets and back patios have had decades to fill. Think of a garage that no longer fits the car, a spare room before guests arrive, or a side yard before a sale.

Where we pick up

McCormick Ranch, Troon, Troon North, DC Ranch, Grayhawk, Desert Highlands, McDowell Mountain Ranch, Pinnacle Peak Heights, Happy Valley Ranch, Cavasson and the streets between them.

What else we haul here

Furniture, store fixtures and laundry pairs

Each of these jobs has its own page with the details; here is how it plays out in town.

  • Furniture removal for a move or a refresh

Most homes here are lived in by their owners, 67.6% of them, and owners clear furniture on their own clock: before a move, ahead of a delivery, or when a room gets redone.

    • Sofas and sectionals
    • Dressers and bed frames
    • Patio sets and loungers
    • "Particle board" flat-pack pieces
    old furniture pickup
  • Commercial junk removal for stores and offices

Shops around Fashion Square swap out fixtures and displays, and offices retire desks, chairs and file cabinets. We take residential and commercial work alike, and a store or office clear-out gets a quote for the whole project, not by the piece.

    retail cleanout
  • Appliance removal for washers, dryers and refrigerators

With only 10.27 inches of rain a year, a retired washer or dryer moved out to the carport can sit for years without rotting away. Once it is disconnected we roll it out, and a refrigerator's coolant gets the special handling it needs.

Past the town line

Neighboring towns and the service area

The same truck that runs here keeps going across the Valley, and a job just outside our list is a question for the call, not an automatic no.

Paradise Valley sits right next door, and Fountain Hills, Cave Creek and Carefree are on our regular routes out of the home base. Tempe and Peoria have pages of their own.

What customers say once the load is gone

Nathan , and his fellow worker ( I forget his name) were great! They were very quick in being available to help us out in the same week we called them. They did a thorough job in removing and emptying out an apartment; and a complete storage room the very next day~~ during a week we were in town because of a loved ones death. I highly recommend them. Very, very nice young men!

Came the same day I called them. Two great guys. Took everything and we thought the price was very fair. We would definitely call them again.

Common question

Before you call

What is the minimum charge for junk removal?

The smallest load we price is a "minimum load", about a pickup truckload of space, and a lone couch or appliance usually lands there. Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck your items fill, and that price usually covers the crew's labor, fuel and disposal fees. Call and we quote your pile in full, free, before anything is loaded.
